Javascript -Program of choice for web designers who want to achieve interactivity (forms, feeds, etc. ) and also some dynamic aspects of web design. You don't necessarily need to learn javascript like the back of your hand, but you should understand it pretty well and be able to apply almost any function needed with a little research. 6. PHP/SQL - This is a HUGE jump from javascript, very difficult, very complicated and overall it is much different from you're used to learning if you haven't worked with C++ or any other advanced programming languages. Once you've learned this though, your stock goes up 10 fold. You can create forums, blogs, ecommerce sites-shopping carts, and a lot more. You'll also have to unlearn some previous javascript, because javascript is not indexed through search engines, PHP/SQL allow you to take information, like feeds, and display it on your page as indexable content.

Finally in May of 1995, an underwater archeology expedition led by author Clive Cussler found the ship on the bottom of Charleston harbor. On August 8, 2000, the ship was raised and is now sitting at the former Charleston Navy Base in a conservation facility being restored. The crew of the CSS H. L. Thumbnails of my two products bookend a list of stores where they are available. At the bottom of the page is a small animated mailbox next to my email address. Contrast Enhances Clarity Youthful eyes may be able to read fine fonts on low-contrast backgrounds, but I and my target readership are of the elder class. Even so, anyone who spends long hours reading websites will appreciate the lack of eye-strain if designers use high-contrast font and backgrounds. My website uses a light yellow background with black fonts in Times New Roman. The font is a consistent 12 point size so users don't have to Zoom In. Also, sans serif fonts often confuse readers because capital "i's" look like "l's" and capital "O's" look like zeroes. Use fancy fonts sparingly. More is NOT better. A conventional font with serifs, like Times, New Roman, is easy to read in blocks of text, while fancy fonts are fun to use for headlines. Another thing about text and graphics break up blocks of text in short paragraphs and place graphics so they "face" or direct the eye to the text.

create css As you scroll the web page, the supposed fixed element vibrates about its position. You might have seen this on some web sites. Today the element meant to be fixed is stable with the CSS Fixed Positioning declaration block and does not vibrate as you scroll. Conclusion Fixed Positioning keeps an element fixed within the client area of the web page. You need the position property with the "fixed" value for this. You also need the left, top, right, bottom and z-index properties. In many situations, you would not need all these properties together, but you will always need the position property with the "fixed" value. This technology works with new browsers and not old browsers. Chrys Using CSS in Your PSD File Cascading Style sheets or commonly known as CSS help to define the appearance of a document that is written in web languages like HTML or XHTML (higher version of HTML). CSS is primarily used to add styles, color, and layout to an HTML document. Using CSS allows a user to alter the appearance of the HTML page that uses the CSS.
